Planet Open Help aggregates the blogs of people who do documentation and support work in open source or community-based projects. If you want to have your blog added to the planet, email firstname.lastname@example.org with:
- A link to your blog’s RSS feed.
- A short Twitter-style bio of yourself. Make sure your bio mentions whatever it is you work on that makes your blog appropriate for Planet Open Help.
- A profile picture. We crop and scale to 120×120 pixels.
- Links to your profiles on other sites. You don’t have to include everything, just the things you want to share with the open help community.
We welcome you to use a feed that includes everything you blog about, even if it’s not all about tech comm and open source. Communities are made up of people, and we want to get to know you. Of course, if you want to provide a more limited feed, that’s fine too.
We are a diverse and welcoming community. Please do not include any posts that are derogatory, insulting, or inflammatory. We recognize that your blog is your own, and that you have the right to blog about whatever you want. But we have the right to control what appears on Planet Open Help. If you want to post material that’s inappropriate for Planet Open Help, provide us a feed that excludes those posts.
